Country Pine Furniture

Country pine furniture follows a classic yet rustic style given by its material: the pine tree. The pines are evergreen and resinous trees, native from Northern America and they are known under 115 different species. They are also known as having one of the most important timbers, used for their wood pulp in paper and furniture manufacture, as they provide both strong woods and light bark. Country pine furniture is intensively produced in Mexico, where this craft is combined with artistic traditions, but the more classical and colored ones are produced in America.

Country pine furniture can be varnished or unpolished and it can vary in many colors. In comparison with other tree materials, the pines can provide a lighter color of the wood, as light as egg color and these unpolished cream shades have the authentic country aspect. Its smell is also famous, because it is pleasant and stronger than other trees' wood and it keeps the room fresh and smelling of unripe timber for many years.

Country pine furniture consists of various items that can accommodate all rooms, patios and even bathrooms or formal offices. Most of the lounges and rocking chairs are made of pine. Their country aspect is given by the natural color of the wood, not by applications or additional fabrics. The storage benches and the pine trunks have a special rustic aspect, as these pieces are common for country furniture, no matter the origin of their wood.

For a rustic bathroom without many technological items in it, the classical country pine cabinets are very popular and practical. The country pine tables are in pedestal type or designed with handy storages for small items, they have rounded and shorter legs and they are looking like the old farm tables. For the home or business office, the country pine furniture is a daring alternative; these items are computer desks, master desks or tall storage cupboards. There are furniture pieces which don't come in the natural color of the pine, but all range of colors, from blue to red; these are highly finished and more abstemious, but can have decor applications that keep the country aspect.

Besides country pine furniture, this tree is also used for country decoration, mainly painting frames, holders, different supports for lamps, wide baskets or rustic and decorative plates. Some of the country pine furniture is also hand painted, with flower motifs, especially the white polished items, which provide a different, more romantic look than the unpolished furniture.
